How to get there
These beautiful tiny islets of the Small Cyclades are reachable only by sea. There are numerous routes from Pireaus or Rafina to Pano Koufonisi, with Blue Star Ferries, Hellenic Seaways or Sea Jets, which last from 5-8 hours.
Another way to reach Pano Koufonisi, is from the island of Naxos, taking the local boat ‘Skopelitis’ or driving to Volakas (port of Naxos located on the other side of the island) and taking a boat from there.
Alternatively, one can fly to the nearby islands of Santorini and Mykonos and then take a boat to Koufonisi.
The island also features a helipad.
